Food and wine

Staffolo is one of the castles of Jesi, famous for its production of Verdicchio. This prized, straw-coloured white wine varies in taste according to wine cellar and area of origin.

There is no better way to admire the hillside sunsets than with a glass of Verdicchio in hand. This wine is also excellent with Trippa alla canapina (a tripe speciality).

The local cuisine is telling of its royal past: lamb with vegetables, ravioli filled with ricotta, and tagliatelle.
