Come off the main road to Cingoli and follow a white country road for around 700 metres. You will reach a hilltop where the farmhouse stands. The building, which featured as far back as 19th-century maps, is typical of the Marche architecture: red bricks and a sloping roof.
Our wish is to welcome guests into a family atmosphere: our house is furnished with homely arte povera (rustic) furniture. We also have small collections on display that introduce visitors to the charms of this region, cradle of the Renaissance. Here, you can relax in the open space that surrounds the farmhouse, taking in endless horizons. The sea lies behind the other side of the hill; though you cannot see it, you can smell its “scent” which fills the air, filtering through flora and Tamarisk trees.
Our entire project has been motivated by a desire to reawaken deep, ancient feelings in a holiday home that truly makes visitors feel at home and arouse their memories. This is a magical place where we rediscover the luxury of silence and darkness. Where we see fireflies again and immerse ourselves in simple pleasures. Upon arriving here, you will immediately feel as though this is exactly where you wanted to be, that this place was waiting for you. You are enveloped by its open space, peacefulness and the song of the wind as it rustles through the tree leaves. Life’s essence.
Grant for environmental protection
Many of the materials used to restore the farmhouse are original ones from the house itself. Restoration work took into full account health and environmental aspects. We have also installed new energy-saving systems. Finally, the restoration project was overseen and completed by Salvatore Di Bella’s excellent building company.
